Haleshi Mahadev is a verkhoangy popular temple as The Pashupatinath of eastern Nepal. It’s situated in the Khotang district, 3,100 ft. – 4,734 ft. above sea level. It is 185 km south west of Mount Everest. It is a venerated site of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage.
